We will convert one or more cars from ICE gasoline to ZEV Electric.  Test drives of the conversion electric cars on day 10!  A 1982 Toyota Long Bed Pick up truck from Chula Vista, California will be the project car. It will use a 144 Volt drive battery system employing 24   six volt deep cycle batteries and a 23 HP DC electric motor.  The converted vehicle will cruise at 75 mph and have a range per charge of 60 miles.  It will fuel up on electricity.

I will have my 1980  Renault LeCar Lectric Leopard Conversion electric car at the class.
We will design and build a roadside opportunity charging station in the class.

Another Commuter Conversion Electric Car Class will go in March 2009.

I am available in the summers to teach the 10 day class out of town.  My fee is $5K with transportation and housing provided by the host. “Have electric car.  Will travel.”
